Swedish-born Bit Grubbstrom jokes that her purchase of a Harley Davidson motorcycle 4 1/2 years ago was her midlife-crisis gift to herself. The owner of AdBit's Advertising and PR in Fort Lauderdale says she never rides without her black leather chaps. She's been known to turn heads riding up to black-tie affairs on her Harley, complete with her full-length evening attire hiked up to reveal her leather chaps. And while she doesn't ride it to the office on a daily basis, the Harley's perfect, she says, for casual Fridays.

Grubbstrom is big into leather jackets, boots and other biker gear as well. "It's funny how so many of us riders who wear strict business attire all week long go through a complete change when we are about to get on our bikes," she says.

In her closet: Among her leather items are eight jackets, five vests, seven pairs of boots, chaps, a scarf, handbags and gloves (long and short). She's currently converting a bedroom in her home into a walk-in closet just for her riding gear.
