Local businesses will get another shot in the arm when Super Bowl XLIII comes to Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 1. How much money can a Super Bowl generate? The 112,000 visitors who attended Super Bowl XLI in Miami in 2007 spent an estimated $280 million during the week before the game, according to an analysis by the Sports Management Research Institute in West Palm Beach.
