Lobster Haul Is Dwindling

The lobster haul off of the Florida Keys over the past 15 years has fallen by 55%. Here’s how it has fared more recently:

7.7 million catch in 1999-2000
3.1 million catch in 2001-02
3.2 million preliminary count for 2008-09
