The Sunshine State’s pro-business agenda, robust
financial infrastructure, strong technology base and diverse workforce provide unique business advantages for companies from around the world. Florida has built an economy founded on innovation. Prosperity is our goal — for our people, our businesses and our communities.
A coalition of the state’s business leaders, including the Florida Council of 100, Enterprise Florida and the Florida Chamber of Commerce, has identified talent as the top requirement for building an innovation-based economy. Enhancing Florida’s rich talent pool will feed emerging clusters including clean technologies and energy solutions. These technologies make renewable and alternative energy such as ethanol, solar power, wind energy and wave energy a viable alternative and are beneficial to our economy — and our environment.
