Stats: University Investment Boost

Public and private investment in research at Florida’s major universities totaled more than $1.6 billion in 2006, according to a survey by the technology transfer directors of 13 Florida research universities coordinated through the Technology Transfer Office at Florida State University. The figure was $36.5 million higher than 2005’s total.
