Business Innovation Center, Melbourne
» This summer, the Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA) opened its 31,000-sq.-ft. Business Innovation Center in Melbourne. The center offers office and manufacturing space, mentoring and product development support. Four companies, Adapt 4, Audigence, ColorSculpt and Sea-Watch, have moved into the center. Additional companies going through TRDA’s Roadmap to Success workshop series likely will move in this fall, says Chester J. Straub Jr., executive director of the TRDA. The TRDA has run the Florida/NASA Business Incubation Center in Titusville since 1996.
