Stats: Florida Attorneys Disciplined

Laying Down the Law

Since January, the Florida Supreme Court has disciplined 208 of the more than 80,000 attorneys who practice law in Florida:

» 109 were suspended

» 42 were disbarred

» 42 were reprimanded

» 34 were placed on probation

» 11 were ordered to pay restitution

Note: The numbers don’t add up to 208 because some of the attorneys received more than one form of discipline.
