» Win Phillips is the new senior vice president and COO at the University of Florida. Phillips was vice president for research for
the past 12 years and engineering dean before that.

» Rick Drummond was selected interim manager in Alachua County after longtime County Manager Randall H. Reid left to become administrator of Sarasota County.

» Jacksonville University named Don Capener dean of the business school. Capener is a business professor in Monmouth College in Illinois and co-founder of athletic apparel company Above the Rim that was later sold to Reebok. He'll start at JU in July.
