» Florida Atlantic University has begun the search for a new president now that Frank T. Brogan, 56, has become the third chancellor of the State University System. Brogan, a former teacher, Martin County school superintendent, education commissioner and lieutenant governor, led FAU for six years before the state Board of Governors chose him for his new post. FAU provost John Pritchett takes over as interim FAU president while the university’s board of trustees hunts for Brogan’s replacement.
