» Benihana (Nasdaq-BNHNA) named Christopher P. Ames COO, replacing Juan C. Garcia, who continues as president and chief administrative officer. Ames had been a consultant to Benihana and before that was COO of the Cosi restaurant chain.

» Burger King’s president for global marketing strategy and innovation, Russ Klein, resigned; the company’s former president for Europe, Middle East and Africa is overseeing marketing on an interim basis.

» Terence Riley resigned as director of the Miami Art Museum An architect by training, he returned to Keenen/Riley Architects.

» Professional Bank named Scott A. Poulin senior vice president/wealth management and Philip (Flip) Gassman and Daniel R. Martinez both senior vice president/private banking. All three had been with Coral Gables-based Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust.
