» Alec Cunningham, formerly president of WellCare’s Florida and Hawaii divisions, has been named WellCare’s overall president and CEO. Cunningham replaces Heath Schiesser, who resigned. Last year, WellCare paid $80 million in restitution to settle federal charges that it defrauded Florida’s Medicaid program and Florida Healthy Kids Corp.

» Ronnie Duncan was named chairman of the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority after Shelton Quarles asked not to be reappointed to the post.

» John Tonnison is Tech Data’s new chief information officer and executive vice president. He had been the technology distributor’s vice president of information technology for the Americas.

» Steven C. Lewis has joined Naples’ WilsonMiller as CFO. He was most recently controller for Miromar Development in Estero.

» Margaret Sullivan has been named regional chancellor of the University of South Florida/St. Petersburg. She had been interim chancellor for a year.

» Bob Critchfield has been named president of Community Bank of Manatee.
