Awards: Tops in Pro Bono

At a time when many Florida lawyers say they don’t have enough time for pro bono work, the Florida Bar honored 22 attorneys who make the time.

Robert Josefsberg, a senior partner at Podhurst, Orseck in Miami, won the top honor, the 2010 Tobias Simon Pro Bono Service Award. During his career, Josefsberg has donated more than 1,800 hours.

The Bar also gave awards to 21 other attorneys, one in each of Florida’s 20 judicial districts and one practicing outside of the state: Robert Steven Goldman, Monica Taibl, Rebeccah Lee Beller, Michael Jordan Cooper, William G. Bostick Jr., Raven Elizabeth Sword, Robert Anthony Rush, Robert Lee Dietz, Dana Yvonne Moore, Gordon Charles Murray Sr., Larry Ronald Chulock, Caroline Kapusta Black, Stephen Lee Romine, Timothy Michael Warner, Richard Lloyd Abedon, Thomas Edward Woods, Juliette Ellen Lippman, Scott Douglas Krasny, John Edward Moore III, Kathleen C. Passidomo and Kerry M. Donahue.
