» Craig Lowe, a seven-year veteran of the Gainesville City Commission, was voted the city’s mayor in a close run-off election in April, although his challenger’s supporters have sued over the results. He replaces Pegeen Hanrahan, who served two terms. Hanrahan continues her work with the Trust for Public Land’s conservation finance program, where she helps Florida cities and counties develop funding for parks and land conservation.
