» Capt. Jeffrey Maclay was named commanding officer of Naval Air Station Jacksonville, the area’s largest employer with more than 25,000 employees and a $1.28-billion annual payroll. Maclay, a helicopter pilot, has been the base’s executive officer for the past three years. He replaces Capt. Jack Scorby, who was named executive assistant to the assistant secretary of the Navy for Installations, Energy and Environment in Washington, D.C.
