» Linda Watson stepped down as CEO at Lynx, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, to become president and CEO of Capital Metro in Austin, Texas. She led Lynx for six years, ramping up the Orlando area bus system and making it the first in the nation to produce biodiesel for its entire fleet. She previously spent 22 years working for Texas public transit systems.

» Frank Billingsley has been appointed chief of staff for Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to replace Brie Turek, who is relocating to Washington, D.C. Billingsley has served as the city’s director of economic development and formerly worked as executive director of the Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agency. His successor has not been named.

» Capt. Bill “Roto” Reuter took over in June as commanding officer of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division. He replaced Capt. Harry Robinson, who retired.
