Port Panama City Port Panama City, the Panhandle’s only containerized port, has launched a two-phase, $6-million-plus container yard expansion that will add 388 spaces within the next six months to the current 594, plus another 751 within three years. Port tenant Linea Peninsular began scheduling several trips weekly to Mexico in 2006. Container shipments at the port:
