Tom serves on the Florida Supreme Court Judicial Management Council and served on the Florida Commission on Access to Justice. Tom has published numerous legal book chapters and legal articles. In addition to trial work, he handles select appeals that have gone to the Florida Supreme Court and the United States Supreme Court.

Tom graduated from Stetson Law in 1983 and University of the South — Sewanee in 1981 with a B.A. in Economics.
