» Robert E. Sanchez replaced Anthony Tegnelia as Ryder System's president of global fleet management solutions when Tegnelia retired. Sanchez was Ryder's executive vice president and CFO. Art A. Garcia, Ryder's senior vice president and controller, will succeed Sanchez.

» Ivax Diagnostics' new owner promoted COO Kevin Clark to president and COO. The company's president and CEO, Charles Struby, resigned after the purchase. Ivax Diagnostics also replaced Chairman Patrice Debregeas with Suresh Vazirani, CEO of Erba Diagnostics Manheim, which acquired the company.
