» Ray Gilley, who resigned from the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission in August over differences with the agency, has joined local marketing and public relations company Thompson Wesley Wolfe on an "of counsel" basis to help develop business opportunities and serve current clients.

» SeaWorld Orlando has a new president: Terry Prather, formerly head of the parent company's Virginia water park. He succeeds Dan Brown, who was promoted to a new position overseeing all three SeaWorld parks.

» Mark Russell was named editor of the Orlando Sentinel. The former managing editor, who has been with the newspaper since 2004, replaces Charlotte Hall, who retired.

» William G. Oakley has been named president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Central Florida. He formerly held the top post at the Goodwill operation in Savannah, Ga. He replaces Rick Coleman, who retired.

Gatorland is adding more than 70 animals -- including a 15-foot American crocodile known as Bonecrusher II -- to the attraction after purchasing the creatures from the recently closed Everglades Wonder Gardens in Bonita Springs.
