Oil search resumes at Big Cypress National Preserve

A Texas company has resumed the search for oil along Alligator Alley, exploring the home of Florida panthers, black bears and other wildlife for potential places to drill. Burnett Oil Co. has sent workers in on foot to scout out areas for seismic operations across 110 square miles of Big Cypress National Preserve. More from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Walmart to spend $200M to renovate stores in Florida

Walmart plans to spend $200 million on renovations in Florida stores this year as part of a plan to rollout several in-store and online innovations nationwide. Norwegian has the green light: An all-glass, modern new terminal is coming to PortMiami

A sleek new terminal proposed by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings at PortMiami has officially gotten the green light to begin construction. The Miami-based cruise company and Miami-Dade County reached an agreement for the terminal on Tuesday, settling on a location east of the existing Terminals B and C. More from the Miami Herald.

Citizens' board approves coverage caps for customers who use outside contractors

 Bye-bye, Beverly Hills. Step aside, Silicon Valley. According to a new report by Bloomberg, the richest ZIP Code in the U.S. is 33109 — aka the super-exclusive enclave of Fisher Island — where the average income in 2015 was $2.5 million.
