Cynthia Barnett | 3/1/2011

Jacksonville voters go to the polls on March 22 to choose a sheriff, council members and a replacement for term-limited Mayor John Peyton after a year of jockeying and fundraising among high-profile candidates to replace him. The leading mayoral candidates are Republicans Mike Hogan, the Duval County tax collector; Audrey Moran, president of the Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless; Rick Mullaney, the city's former general counsel; and Democrat Alvin Brown, a former Clinton administration aide.
