Fast times continue at Boca Raton mobile platform company 3Cinteractive. Founded in 2005 by three MCI veterans — CEO John Duffy, President Mike FitzGibbon and COO Mark Smith — the company hit approximately $40 million in revenue last year, up from $17.5 million in 2009. It expects to add 25 employees to its 75 this year. 3C (as in create, capture, convert) allows clients — Disney is an example — to extend their communications over the mobile channel. The idea is to make purchasing and other interactions as easy on mobile devices as it would be from home on a PC or Mac. The company also manages compliance with carrier rules on customer privacy, spam and so on for its clients.
