Hernon plans to hire 15 to 20 employees.

Hernon Manufacturing, which makes adhesives and sealants in a 25,000-sq.-ft. plant in Sanford, sought advice from the Small Business Development Center's no-cost Growth Acceleration consulting service to expand and boost cash flow. Hernon now plans to hire 15 to 20 employees this year and move into a 100,000-sq.-ft. building in 2013. The extra space will allow the company to triple production capacity.
