When It's Time to Take the Next Step
There are moments in life when it is time to make a move. Whether it’s high school graduation, a potential promotion or feeling drawn to a new profession, students come to Saint Leo University to begin that journey.
As one of the largest Catholic universities in the nation, Saint Leo University provides a values-based, student-centered community, offering an array of innovative programming. Saint Leo opens the opportunity for students to access a dynamic education at every stage of life.
Convenient No matter where a student is, Saint Leo University is there, too. Students earn degrees not only from the beautiful lakefront campus, but also at the university’s many teaching locations throughout the state.
The university teaches in seven states as well as online. While the Pasco County-based campus attracts mostly traditional undergraduate and graduate students, Saint Leo’s teaching centers and offices mainly serve adult learners — students who are working full time and raising families. Employers also can offer Saint Leo programs at their locations.
Innovative The one constant in the workforce is change. With technological advancements, new career paths are always developing. It takes a concerted effort to stay a breast of trends and be nimble enough to develop educational programs to prepare an individual for those careers. Saint Leo University is committed to cutting-edge innovation to advance its academic programs. Some up-and-coming approaches have been developed for these areas of study:
• Criminal Justice
• Human Services
Military Friendly From the time of its founding in 1889, the mission of Saint Leo — to educate and serve — has been illuminated with instances of resourcefulness, ingenuity and fulfillment of purpose. In 1973, Saint Leo brought courses for the first time to military students at Avon Park Bombing Range and MacDill Air Force Base. Today, more than 5,000 men and women of the armed forces are enrolled in Saint Leo University degree programs — comprising about 30% of the university-wide community.
