Florida senators split on confirmation of Neil Gorsuch

The Senate on Friday confirmed Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court by a largely party-line 54-45 vote, setting the stage for President Donald Trump’s 49-year-old nominee to shape U.S. law for decades to come. Florida senators voted along party lines, with Sen. Marco Rubio voting to confirm, while Sen. Bill Nelson also voted in step with the Democratic Party to reject. Full story from Reuters, here.
