With the Colombia Free Trade Agreement set to take effect this month, those in Miami's international trade industry should be among the winners, but concerns about Colombian workers linger.

› Sales and profits rise at HSN but Smith + Noble is out
HSN Inc. on Wednesday beat analyst forecasts by reporting rising sales and profits for the fifth quarter in the row. Sales at the St. Petersburg e-commerce retailer rose 5 percent and net income jumped 29 percent to $26 million, or 44 cents per share from a year ago in the quarter that ended March 31. A consensus of analysts had projected earnings of 37 cents.
