Rep. Carlos Trujillo, R-Miami, has asked all members of Florida Hospital Association to provide extensive financial information, including salaries for hospital individuals that earn more than $200,000 annually, funds spent on lobbyingn privately-raised funds.

Hospitals ordered to provide salary and lobbying data to Florida House

After demanding financial data from state university foundations, county tourism boards and economic development councils, the Florida House is now turning its attention to hospitals throughout the state, just as negotiations on a new state budget move into high gear. See the email from the Florida Appropriations Committee to members of the Florida Hospital Association, here. In the email, hospitals were requested to provide extensive financial information, including compensation for all executives that make more than $200,000 annually, privately raised funds, fund for lobbying contracts.
