Cosabella enjoying international fashion fame

The Miami-based lingerie and swimwear company has been featured on TV shows from "Sex in the City" to "The L Word."

A vibrantly colored thong propelled Cosabella to international fashion fame. The Miami-based lingerie, swimwear and apparel company has garnered celebrity endorsements from the likes of Jennifer Lopez and appeared on TV shows from "Sex in the City" to "The L Word." Valeria Campello, a native of Italy with a law degree, founded the made-in-Italy line in 1983 and was soon joined by her husband. In November, the company opened a combination flagship boutique and wholesale showroom in New York's SoHo area, along with a store in Atlanta and stores-within-stores in Milan, Paris and South Korea. The company has revenue of $30 million and about 60 employees, 45 of them in Miami.
