Artist Steve Whitlock's work is much in demand.
His game, fish and marine paintings and prints - in a style he calls "highly representational and somewhat dynamic for their movement" - are sought after and prized by collectors and an ever-growing list of corporate clients, such as Bass Pro Shops, Tervis Tumbler, Bertram Boats, the Coastal Conservation Association of Florida and Texas, the National Rifle Association and many more.
Still, he earns far less now as a nationally known artist than he did at his previous occupation.
