New Zika transmission zone in Miami confirmed

Florida health officials have identified a new area of Zika transmission and have asked the federal government for funding to help fight the outbreak. Gov. Rick Scott's office confirmed five people have been infected with Zika in a small area in Miami-Dade County. [Source: Reuters]

Legoland Florida Resort evacuated following bomb scare

Legoland Florida Resort was evacuated Thursday afternoon after receiving an anonymous bomb threat. The resort's general manager said park officials received the threat and "quickly made the decision to evacuate our theme park and hotel according to our established safety protocols." Four Tampa startups land funding deals amid lean quarter for venture capital
