SquareTrade Grows Quickly Under the Florida Sun

ORLANDO – SquareTrade offers customers a protection plan for their gadgets — covering spills, drops and everyday mishaps. Growing at the speed of technology, the company recently opened a second U.S. location in Orlando. The office already has 120 full-time employees here and will reach a total of 180 by the end of 2016. SquareTrade made a capital investment of more than $540,000 in the region.

The company’s decision to locate to Florida was based on the hotbed of technology companies moving and expanding in central Florida.

After an extensive six-month search, we chose Orlando for our next office location because of the city’s growing tech community, its business-friendly environment and the quality of the workforce. As a Silicon Valley company, it was important for us to find a location that had a similar caliber of tech talent. We’re committed to growing our presence in Orlando over the next several years.

Ahmed Khaishgi
CEO, SquareTrade

A growing tech community and quality workforce were among many reasons SquareTrade chose Orlando as the site for its second U.S. location.
