Water and coffee add $1 billion in sales to Tampa's Cott Corporation

Cott Corporation, a beverage company headquartered in Tampa, has struck a $335 million deal to buy S&D Coffee Inc.

Florida Trend ranks beverage company Cott Corporation as the 30th largest public company in Florida.

S&D Coffee is a coffee roaster that provides customized (private label) coffee and tea to stores nationwide. See the news release from S& D coffee, here. The S&D deal comes two days after Cott wrapped up its purchase of Eden Springs, a company that delivers water and coffee in Europe. The two deals will bring Cott to $3.9 billion in revenue. Grand opening held for Ocala FedEx Ground facility

the beach An ocean of 1.2 million balls arrived this week at Amalie Arena as part of The Beach Tampa exhibit. The arena has been transformed to hold 15,000 square feet of recyclable and antimicrobial immersive white balls. The Vinik Family Foundation says it wanted to bring a beach to downtown Tampa.
