» Online health and wellness product retailer Vitacost.com of Boca Raton appointed Jeffrey J. Horowitz, founder of Vitamin Shoppe, CEO. He became interim CEO in August.

» Biometric identity company Cross Match Technologies of Palm Beach Gardens named David Buckley president and CEO. Buckley formerly was CEO of Vectronix, a Safran Group optronics and advanced systems company.

» William M.B. Fleming Jr., 59, was appointed interim president of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach. Fleming had been Palm Beach Atlantic's vice president for development. Fleming replaces Luther B. Hardin, who pleaded guilty to federal charges in Arkansas of wire fraud and money laundering.

» The Broward County Housing Authority named COO Ann Deibert to replace CEO Kevin Cregan, who retired after 22 years with the authority.
