» Former Jacksonville Port Authority CEO Rick Ferrin went to work for TranSystems as a vice president in the Jacksonville office. The company offers maritime architecture, engineering, management and other services.

» Florida East Coast Railway hired Joel Haka as executive vice president and COO. Haka has more than three decades' experience in maritime operations. Haka most recently was senior vice president and COO at CMA CGM in Norfolk, Va., where he oversaw North American marine, terminal and inland operations.
