Zika threat knocking on Florida's door

Mosquito controllers say the Zika threat is at Florida's doorstep. A few infected mosquitoes can cause a large outbreak. In Broward County, they're getting 500 requests for mosquito spraying every day -- 10 times the normal amount. More from CBS News, CBS Miami, and CNN.

Expanding chains show fast food is still king in Central Florida

Plans for about 75 new fast food restaurants are lining up from International Drive to Oviedo, showing that the oft-maligned style is still popular. Restaurants such as Checkers, Culver's and Dairy Queen are setting up eateries and expanding in Central Florida while staples such as McDonald's continues to grow. More from the Orlando Sentinel.

Crystal Israel had her brandied vanilla pear jam. Tucker Juan had his white chocolate toffee. There were also pickles, tea and bakery treats for dogs.
