80 percent of Florida citrus trees infected by greening
Florida’s citrus growers say as much as 90 percent of their acreage and 80 percent of their trees are infected by the deadly greening disease, which is making a huge dent in the state’s $10.7 billion citrus industry, a new University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences survey shows. Tampa Bay Times wins Pulitzer Prizes in local and investigative reporting
The Tampa Bay Times won two Pulitzer Prizes on Monday for investigations that exposed rampant indifference and inequity in five predominantly African-American Pinellas County schools and in Florida's state-run mental health system. Gas prices expected to rise up to 15 cents by Memorial Day
