Global recovery ‘in danger of stalling’
The world economy is beset by feeble growth and a recovery that is “weak, uneven and in danger of stalling yet again,” according to the latest Brookings Institution-Financial Times tracking index. In addition, the Paris-based Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development issued a statement, saying "The CLIs (composite leading indicators) continue to point to easing growth in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan, with a similar outlook now expected in Germany and Italy.
