Who are Florida's voters?
In advance of the Florida primary on March 15, the U.S. Census Bureau presents a variety of statistics that give an overall profile of the state's voting-age population and industries. Statistics include:
» Voting-age population and estimate of eligible voters (i.e., citizens age 18 and older).
» Breakdown of voting-age population by race and Hispanic origin
» Selected economic characteristics, including median household income and poverty. Selected social characteristics, including educational attainment.

Lower prices don't spur consumers to buy OJ
OJ sales at major U.S. supermarkets fell 7.1 percent in the four-week period ending Feb. 20 despite a 3-cent reduction in the average price, according to the most recent sales report from the Florida Department of Citrus. More from the Lakeland Ledger.

March means air shows in Florida
It's nearly spring, which means the sounds of jet engines over Florida's skies as air show season kicks off. This year, the state will see 10 visits from the top two jet demonstrations, the Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels.
