Albert Santalo

Founded by chairman and CEO Albert Santalo in late 2009, CareCloud makes web-based medical practice management and billing software designed to increase efficiency and collaboration among doctors and store data at remote servers. In October, it closed a $5-million round of capital. Santalo is a longtime tech entrepreneur and software programmer: In 2001, he founded the successful software company Avisena, which operates in the same space.
