Florida adds 17,900 jobs in January
Florida's private employers added 17,900 jobs in January — an increase of 3,900 jobs compared to the same month a year ago, according to ADP's regional employment report. More from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Florida's House and Senate are $1 billion apart on budget

Staples receives European approval to acquire Office Depot
Staples has received European Union approval to acquire Office Depot, which is headquartered in Boca Raton. The European Union approved the transaction on the condition that Staples divest Office Depot's commercial contract business and all of Office Depot's operations in Sweden.
