Enterprise Florida unveils new branding campaign for state

Florida has a new business brand — Florida: The Future Is Here — courtesy Enterprise Florida. It's a sleek, 21st-century theme that will be used to target national and international business decision makers. "The new identity serves as a call to action to business leaders interested in starting, growing or relocating their businesses in Florida, and instills a sense of pride in what the state offers to existing business owners and residents." - Statement from Enterprise Florida. Space Florida pursues "major" aerospace deal

Space Florida hopes to close a deal soon with a company considering a “major aerospace presence” in Florida, potentially bringing 250 jobs with an average salary of $86,000. More from Florida Today.

Florida groups get $16 million for cancer research

wawa Florida doesn't quite have a convenience store on every corner, but we're getting there. The state has grown from 9,348 convenience stores in 2011 to a record 9,910 in 2015, according to the Florida Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association.
