Gov. Scott wants more cash to lure businesses to Florida
Gov. Rick Scott continues putting pressure on lawmakers to attract more companies to Florida and has advised business owners to do the same. Scott on Tuesday reiterated his position that Enterprise Florida, the state’s business-recruiting arm, is running short of cash for incentives. Scott said more money must be set aside in next year’s budget if the state wants to continue enticing companies to relocate here.More from CBS Miami and the Orlando Sentinel.
