Floridians' confidence reached a post-recession peak earlier this year. But there's been a drop-off since then. Chris McCarty, director of the university center that does the survey, said in a statement that the drop is not surprising since there was a drop in the stock market in late August. Florida fails to apply for federal grant to fight worker misclassification
