Gov. Rick Scott sworn in for second term
Florida Gov. Rick Scott has been sworn into his second term. During his inauguration speech he promised job creation and a business friendly climate. The Republican chief executive is starting his second term in office focusing on the same themes he stressed during his first four years in office which include limiting the size of government and cutting taxes. AutoNation posts best December in 13 years
The country's largest dealership chain on Tuesday reported its strongest December for new vehicles sales since 2001 and its best full-year for new vehicle sales since 2006. The vehicle retailer said it sold 33,069 new vehicles in December, a 12 percent jump from a year earlier. More at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
