2015 economic preview for Florida

A report from Florida TaxWatch predicts another year of economic growth and recovery in 2015. "Florida's economy and job growth should keep climbing in 2015," said Dominic M. Calabro, President and CEO of Florida TaxWatch. Both Florida's growth and employment rate are expected to outpace the nation's in 2015. Read the full report here.


Gov. Rick Scott sworn in for second term

Florida Gov. Rick Scott has been sworn into his second term. During his inauguration speech he promised job creation and a business friendly climate. The Republican chief executive is starting his second term in office focusing on the same themes he stressed during his first four years in office which include limiting the size of government and cutting taxes. AutoNation posts best December in 13 years

The country's largest dealership chain on Tuesday reported its strongest December for new vehicles sales since 2001 and its best full-year for new vehicle sales since 2006.
