Gov. Scott to promote Florida to others in speech

Gov. Rick Scott is going to use his inauguration day speech to urge residents from other states to move here because of Florida's lower taxes. After he is sworn in, Scott will give a speech arguing that limiting the size of government and cutting taxes is helping Florida's economy recover. More from the AP and the Miami Herald.


Makeovers made a big impact for some small businesses in 2014

The Miami Herald partnered with certified counselors from the Miami-Dade Chapter of SCORE, a nonprofit organization of volunteers who have been successful entrepreneurs.
