Small Business Saturday continues to grow
Small Business Saturday encourages shoppers across the country to support local stores by shopping on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Last year, shoppers spent $5.7 billion at locally owned shops and restaurants on Small Business Saturday, an increase of 3.6 percent from the previous year, according to a national survey. Corinthian Colleges sells its Florida campuses
Corinthian Colleges Inc. has sold all its Everest and WyoTech campuses in the United States, outside California, to another education group. Zenith Education Group Inc., an affiliate of ECMC Group Inc., will get 56 Everest and WyoTech campuses in 17 states. More at the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
