Cary Gaylord has represented property owners in over 30 Florida counties as well as in the federal courts of Florida and the state courts of Illinois and Georgia. He has authored numerous articles, including chapters in Nichols on eminent domain and a chapter in The Florida Bar’s Florida Eminent Domain Practice and Procedure Manual. He served as a past chairman of The Florida Bar Eminent Domain Committee and as a member of the 13th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission and the 13th Circuit Grievance Committee. In 2011 he was named the Eminent Domain and Condemnation “Lawyer of the Year” by Tampa’s Best Lawyers. He graduated from West Point and the University of Florida College of Law and served on active duty in the infantry and Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He was selected by his peers to the American Board of Trial Advocates, and holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating for legal skill and professional ethics.
