With the EverBank Field north end zone under construction as his backdrop, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan gave a speech about entrepreneurship Wednesday before a crowd of some 200 people at the Jacksonville World Affairs Council luncheon.
“It’s a source of pride for me to represent all of you and to represent Jacksonville,” Khan said.
The NFL franchise itself, “like it or not,” is the face of Jacksonville, Khan said, and will help determine the destiny of the city’s business culture and climate.
