Opened in January by a well-funded company called Orion Jet Center, the new terminal building is part of a surge in construction at county-owned Opa-locka Executive Airport, a former military training airport that is gaining popularity as a full-service station for private jets. Mentorship is the word at national BizWomen events

More than 200 women gathered this morning at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale for the opportunity to choose from among 40 women mentors for one-on-one coaching. It was all part of Mentoring Monday, a national effort by more than 40 American City Business Journals news outlets designed to encourage women successful in business to share their secrets of success.
