Online retailer Unloathe delivers bulk items

Online retailer Unloathe aims to offer the low prices and bulk quantities of retailers like Costco — but delivers the non-perishable goods straight to customers’ pantries, laundry rooms or garages. Unloathe charges $9.95 per delivery, no matter the size, and has no membership fees. The Aventura-based company delivers from southern Miami-Dade County to West Palm Beach, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., in a two-hour window the customer designates. Co-founder Jonathan Kadoch says its prices are lower than local grocery stores’ and in line with Costco’s. "Since we don’t have the overhead of a prime location and 100 employees to run a store, we can make do with 10%, 12% margins for the time being," Kadoch says.
